The Company
Ganymede Energy are working in partnership with global energy supplier to provide a nationwide smart meter installation workforce.
The company are one of the largest energy suppliers in the UK and have over 7 million customers.
Smart Meter Operatives will play a key role in the installation of smart meters in all customers’ homes to meet the Government smart metering target.
We are also recruiting Revenue Protection roles in Milton Keynes and Northampton
The Package
Basic salary equivalent of £30,000
Bonus Earnings up to £2,000 p/a which consists of loyalty bonus and quality
3-week shift pattern.
No Call Out/Standby.
You will be provided with industry leading smart metering technology and equipment.
The Role
Working for Ganymede Energy, you will be installing gas and electric smart meters in line with industry standards and the SMICOP requirements.
You will be working within your local area, although from time to time flexibility will be required to meet the business needs if deemed safe and practicable.
Part of the role will involve explaining the benefits and energy efficiency savings of the smart meters to the supplier’s customers.
Work will be pre-planned and electronically scheduled using a touch pad system.
You will be expected to complete 3 dual fuel meter installations per day
All Meter Operatives will be provided with a fully stocked van and have a local depot.
The Engineer
Minimum Qualifications: CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 or Level 2 Smart Meter Diploma
You must have a minimum of 6 months experience installing gas and electric meters
You must have previous MOCOPA authorisation.
