Ganymede Energy are working in partnership with global energy supplier to provide a nationwide smart meter installation workforce.
Smart Meter Operatives will play a key role in the installation of smart meters in all customers’ homes to meet the Government smart metering target.
The Role
You will be working within your local area
Part of the role will involve explaining the benefits and energy efficiency savings of the smart meters tocustomers.
Work will be pre-planned and electronically scheduled using a touch pad system
All Meter Operatives will be provided with a fully stocked van and have a local depot.
You will be provided with industry leading smart metering technology and equipment.
The Package

Basic salary equivalent of £32,500 p/a

Bonus Earnings up to £2,000 p/a which consists of loyalty bonus and quality

£12.50 per meter bonus over 15 dual/30 meters per week

Realistic earnings £40,000 plus

Average working 37.25 hours per week over 5 days
-
Standby 1 week in every 8 weeks

23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Statutory Maternity and Paternity Pay, Shared Paternal Pay and Adoption Pay.
The Engineer

Minimum Qualifications: CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 or Level 2 Smart Meter Diploma

You must have a minimum of 6 months experience installing gas and electric meters

You must hold a full valid driving licence with maximum of 6 penalty points.

You must have previous MOCOPA authorisation.
