On behalf of our client, we are looking for a PTS Electrician to join their busy Rail E&P team. This is a full time, permanent position and you will be employed directly by the company
The Company
Market leader in technology and connectivity integration - it’s Rail E&P division being tier-one Principal Contractor, delivering end-to-end design and build signalling, power and communications solutions across the UK Rail infrastructure
The Role
As a qualified, experience PTS Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and other maintenance activities as required, whilst carrying out surveying and monitoring activities. As the sites are nationwide, the applicants must be willing to travel and will be expected to arrive to their place of work early Monday morning and not be expecting to return to their place of residents until Friday afternoon.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulation
- 2391 Inspection and Testing or Equivalent (desirable)
- Valid PTS Card
- at least 5 years’ experience
- Driving Licence
- ability to work confidently under their own initiative
- strong understanding of the permits required for types of work and which materials are required to suit tasks
- strong understanding of HSEQ policies
The Salary
£32,000 - £36,000 per annum including statutory employment benefits, van, fuel card / travel and fuel expenses, 25 days holidays, laptop, phone
