What was it about this opportunity that made you want to join the team?
Before I joined recruitment, I was a window fitter however I have always loved the idea of getting into recruitment as a few of my friends are in the industry, and upon reading about Ganymede, I thought they would be a great company to work for. I completed some extensive research into the energy industry prior to joining the team, and it gave me a great insight as to how many different avenues there were to explore when coming on board with the team, which gave me the reassurance that there would always be a high demand for engineers, meaning more placements to be made.
How did you find the interview process?
Amazing! From start to finish the communication was always great and the team always made me feel comfortable throughout.
How have you found your first 12 months?
Thoroughly enjoyable! Although they have absolutely flown by, I feel like I am still learning every day. Of course, you have your better and worse days in recruitment. However, from the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with open arms and went straight into my training with Amy, which was helpful as it laid down the foundations for everything that I would need to know to be successful in the role.
What is your favourite part of your job?
I have truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere of the team and the exceptional working environment, which I consider the best I've experienced. And, of course, I would be lying if I didn't mention my appreciation for the financial aspect, where the effort you personally invest is directly reflected in the commission you can earn.
