Ganymede continue to strengthen Subcontractor Partnership with second collaborative event

Following the launch of this initiative in June 2023, we are delighted to share the success of our second Subcontractor Partnership event hosted at our head office, the Derby Conference Centre.

As part of the Network Rail CP6 Contingent Labour framework and to encourage more work with SME’s, Ganymede have selected and approved a number of subcontractors to fulfil our obligations. With this in mind, we have developed a HSEQ and operational strategy with initiatives set to take us into CP7, with objectives through KPIs to measure our progress and achieve this aim.

It is excellent to see how the Ganymede Subcontractor Partnership has developed since our initial event back in June, with such a high level of cooperation and engagement from so many within the supply chain.

Oliver Wright, Operations Director of Ganymede Rail said: "I am delighted to express my utmost satisfaction with the sub-contractor forum we held this week. The level of engagement and active participation from everyone involved was truly commendable. It was great to witness the collective dedication and commitment towards our shared goals. I am confident that this forum has paved the way for even greater collaboration and success in the future. Thank you all for making this day a resounding success."

We are passionate about further strengthening this collaboration, so for this forum we invited Ash Construction Group, Lightfoot and Safeaid to contribute.

Tony Allday, National Labour & Recruitment Director of Ash Construction Group said: "It was a pleasure to be included in the day. We found it very insightful, and we hope that the collaborative working and innovation we are all working on together is starting to come to fruition for the benefit of everyone involved."

Thank you to all those who attended this event, we trust you found the day worthwhile and look forward to hosting our next event in 2024.
