Ganymede Subcontractor Forum Autumn 2024

By Ganymede

Ganymede host another successful Subcontractor Forum to further develop a collaborative approach with our supply chain

To ensure collaborative working and the sharing of best practices moving forward, we hosted our third Ganymede Subcontractor Forum held at our Head Office, The Derby Conference Centre.

We wanted to take the time to discuss our recent successes regarding safety and operational performance, as well as have an interaction session regarding any areas of improvement. On the agenda for this event was Audit Updates, KPI performance, Fatigue Management, Improvement Notices, Supplier vs Network Rail perceptions, and the latest Rule Book changes.

It was great to have the opportunity to meet with our supply chain face to face, as well as give our subcontractors the platform to present their thoughts on how we can safely grow our Contingent Labour supply to Network Rail together.

We also had the privilege of hearing from Suzy Powell of the Railway Benefit Fund, a charity which provides support to current, former and retired railway people and their families across the UK. We look forward to further engaging with the charity, encouraging our internal employees to utilise their Paid Volunteer Leave and support this great cause.

Stuart Fraser, Accounts Director of Ganymede Rail said: "Myself and the whole team are once again delighted with the success of another Ganymede Subcontractor Forum. We first launched this partnership in June 2023, and it is great to see how these events have developed thanks to the continued engagement of the supply chain. The collaborative nature of the forum created an open and cooperative environment, allowing us to share innovative ideas for improvement and agree best practice moving forward.”

Thank you to all those who attended and made the day a resounding success.”

We look forward to hosting our next Subcontractor Forum in Spring 2025.
