Tyler Cook
Principal Consultant P Way Technical
My background in recruitment
I have been working in recruitment for 7 years, all of which have been within the Railway Sector. I have worked my way up from Administration to a Principal Consultant role within the P Way Technical Division.
I can help you with
My strength lies in competency management and understanding the technical aspects/tickets required of a P Way Engineer. A colleague and I have developed a competency management system to assess, monitor, and maintain the Handback competency, surpassing the requirements of the NWR standard. This approach will also be applied to Stressing competence. Clients can be confident that the staff they are using have undergone rigorous checks and are deemed competent, supported by a Ganymede-branded Authority to Work.
The best part of my job
The most enjoyable aspect of my job has to be engaging with the engineers. The rail industry is a relatively small world, where everything and everybody overlap and come full circle at one time or another. After working in this field for so long, I have cultivated strong relationships along the way, many of which I call close friends.
What I do when I'm not in the office
When I'm not in the office, I spend time with my husband and little ones, whether it's walking in the mountains, baking, running, or engaging in something music-related
