ETCS Assurance & Change Manager – #1 OTM Contractor – Doncaster with Travel – up to £80,000 + Package

About the Role:
As the ETCS Assurance & Change Manager, you will play a key role in managing activities associated with the implementation of ETCS within the business. Leading change management within a structured process framework, you will discharge safety responsibilities, develop scoping documents, risk assessments, and more to ensure a seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead change management activities within a structured process framework.
- Ensure relevant Integrated Management System processes are followed in conjunction with the change team.
- Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, CSM RA Regulations, and Company procedures.
- Develop scoping documents, risk assessments, and lead HAZID workshops.
- Design an efficient approach to manage impacts associated with changes.
- Evaluate change impacts and organisational readiness to limit potential risks.
- Evaluate resistance to change at the employee, process, and engineering levels.
- Maintain action plans and report progress to the Business Change Manager and change team.
- Support training and communication as part of change management.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders, Assessment Bodies (AsBo), and the regulator.
- Support the execution of System Integration/testing activities for digital delivery.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess decisions and performance related to change requests.
- Communicate and engage with employees when required.
To be eligible, you must have:
- Significant experience in a similar role (Change Manager/Safety Validation Manager) within rail or construction-related industries.
- Experience managing projects using regulations for Common Safety Methodology on Risk Evaluation and Acceptance (CSM RA).
- Knowledge of project safety requirements and contract conditions.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety Legislation, CSM RA Regulations, and Risk Assessment principles, including HAZID and HAZOP.
- Good relationships with experienced managers and employees.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels within the business and externally.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
- Experience in the delivery of Digital Railway Signalling (ETCS) and Control Systems.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent / NEBOSH Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Hold or be working towards an Association of Project Management qualification.
