About the Role

Ganymede Solutions is excited to recruit a Mobile Train Cleaning Team Leader for one of the UK’s leading train operators in the North. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to become a permanent role as the company continues to grow.

As the Night Shift Team Leader, you'll lead a dedicated mobile cleaning team across West Yorkshire, with your home depot based in Leeds. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards on the trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, conducting audits, and supporting your team in their daily activities. A valid UK driving license held for at least two years is required.

Shift Pattern:
4 on, 4 off (Saturday to Sunday)
Hours: 20:00 – 06:00

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you should have experience in a cleaning environment—whether it’s vehicle, industrial, or household cleaning. Previous leadership experience is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential as you’ll be guiding a team to meet high standards.

You must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a clean and safe environment for travelers. Additionally, a valid UK driving license (held for at least two years) is required.

Training Provided:
You'll receive training in depot protection, site safety, and cleaning solutions. Since this work is conducted in a safety-critical environment, passing a pre-employment medical exam, including drug and alcohol screening, is mandatory.
