The Role and Responsibilities
As Section Engineer you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of the project. You be responsible for reading drawings, setting out and managing sub-contractors. This is a great opportunity for long term work on a major project where you will have the chance to progress and further develop your skills and experience.
The Company
Our client, a large Tier 1 contractor, who are part of one of the largest Civil Engineering projects within the Yorkshire and Northwest Region.
The Requirements
The ideal Section Engineer for this position will have experience working with the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors, any experience working on major projects within the rail industry will be advantageous! You will have experience working with structural steel works and reinforced concrete, setting out and managing sub-contractors and have worked at Section Engineer level previously. It is essential you are delivery focused and able to be based on site 5 days a week.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a valid CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
