THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with one of the UK’s leading Rail Engineering Contractors who are looking to build on an already strong Commercial team, with some freelance support. The existing framework is worth more than £200m.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part to the commercial team. You are highly valued within the business and allowed to use your own autonomy and experience to help save and make money for the business.
Quantity Surveying includes several responsibilities, including:
- Contract Administration - NEC
- Procurement
- Commercial reporting
- CE’s
- Managing Change up and down Stream
- Payment Applications
- CVR Reporting
- Support of Junior members of team
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You should have:
- Civil Engineering background (Ideally, RAIL experience)
- Good sound knowledge of NR or NEC Contracts
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor
