Senior Quantity Surveyor

Purpose of position: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be managing all costs from the initial calculations to the final figures, minimising the costs of the project and enhancing value for money 

Responsibilities;

Tasked with accountability, leading tasks and processes and where relevant, supporting the roles of others.

Internal and external stakeholder management including, but not limited to; Commercial and wider project teams, sub contractors and client.

Interface with the Project Management team for the commercial aspects of the relevent section of the project

Ensuring the clients commercial position is protected using an indepth understanding and experience of contractual, commercial and legal processes.

Support and development for other team members

prepare sub contract invitations to tender and ake reccomendations to appoint.

Essential requirements

Relevent qualification within Quantity Surveying, Such as BSc or MSc

Experience working for Client, Consultancy, Main contractor or sub contractor clients

Experience within infrastructure projects including but not limited too, Rail, Civil Engineering, Water, Build, Highways, Energy, Oil and Gas.
