Ganymede Solutions are seeking to hire a Train Cleaning Team Leader to join one of the UK’s leading train operators in the North with a strong track record of investing in their staff. This is an initial 6-month contract for a Train Cleaning Team Leader with a wonderful opportunity to be taken on permanently as the organisation continues to expand their workforce.
The role:
We are currently looking for an excellent leader to join the day shift cleaning team as the Train Cleaning Team Leader, based at Leeds Station as part of the turnaround cleaning team who are the face of the company to ensure passenger journeys are clean and enjoyable. The day shift team play an essential role in ensuring a high level of service is met and as the Team Leader you will be supervising and guiding the team to achieve top quality cleanliness standards whilst on shift. With hundreds of commuters travelling out of Leeds Station daily, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the turnaround cleaning team work robustly in completing their cleaning tasks.
The day shift role is on a rotating 4-week roster plan covering the times of 09:00am – 19:00pm with the flexibility to work on weekends. Overtime is often available at managements discretion.

Pay Rate & Benefits
The pay rate for the Train Cleaning Team Leader position will be at £12.73 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

About You
If this is a role which has caught your eye, here is what you need to be considered for the Train Cleaning Team Leader position at Leeds.
You will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment. Having been in a similar team leader role in a previous position will also be welcomed. Strong leadership and good communication are vital is this role as you will be overseeing a variety of individuals to achieve set targets.
You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment for the travelling public.
Training is provided for depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
