Quality Engineer
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: £400 per shift – PAYE / Umbrella
Contract Length: 6 months rolling
Role Responsibilities may include:
- Develop, maintain and communicate quality policies, system and procedures
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality procedures
- Inspect quality on site
- Own the Integrated Management System jointly with Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
- Research quality developments and trends
- Write daily diaries
- Analyse relevant issues and their impact on the business
- Determine how to modify procedures to meet future quality needs
- Produce monthly reports to illustrate company and department performance
- Assess and analyse the present budget requirements
- Develop a plan for audits, inspections and assessments in line with company and legislative requirements
- Prepare H&S Files
Required Experience:
- Proven experieince in quality assurance within construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in relevant quality software and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
