Site Supervisor
Paddington Station
6 Months contract
£250 - £300 depending on experieince and agreed payment method
Ganymede Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a Principal Contractor, who specialise in Rail Civil Engineering and Construction Projects across the UK.
Duties may include.
• Lead elements of the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards
• Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained
• Ensure sustainability targets and standards are achieved
• Regularly review short term programmes in line with the overall project programme to ensure completion on time, and ensure that project plans and schedules are robust and optimise project resources and timescales, and are communicated effectively to the project team
• Understand the relevant contract terms and conditions for each project
• Responsible for people management on elements of the project
• Ensure the Company and Divisional procedures and policies are followed
• Ensure defects and any post completion issues, if applicable, to maintain a positive customer relationship and repeat business performance levels are managed
• Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues to project management
• Manage sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; provide direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved
• Manage labour and materials efficiently where self-executing works and monitor expenditure in accordance with the agreed Project Schedule and budget
Required Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Construction or build background ideally with M&E
- Site supervisory experieince
- PTS and COSS (desirable)
